Toulouse l'Interrail Occitan low-cost

Added byAurélieAurélie - voyages

Eight days of ultra-economical, itinerant travel, designed for the resourceful backpacker: a flexible pace made up of regional trains, urban hikes and convivial evenings in youth hostels.

Each morning, the day begins at the "student base camp" in Toulouse: free time to explore the Pink City or pack bags before departure. The journey continues with train excursions to the treasures of Occitanie, the medieval city of Carcassonne or the episcopal city of Albi, two UNESCO gems accessible on a minimal budget.

The afternoons combine unusual discoveries (student districts, markets) and micro-adventures along the Canal du Midi, on foot or by bike, depending on the mood and the weather.

Sunsets are enjoyed on the banks of the Garonne before street food dinners or shared meals, promoting exchange and an international atmosphere.

Get your youth card and your spirit of adventure ready: Occitanie awaits you, without breaking the bank!
